In a bold step towards strengthening the commitment to innovation and business competitiveness of the Valencian Community. The Instituto Valenciano de Competitividad Empresarial (IVACE) and the Agencia Valenciana de la Innovación (AVI) decide to merge both entities under the same entity with two main objectives.

On the one hand, to continue boosting the competitiveness of the Valencian business network and on the other hand, to carry out the promise of simplifying the administration.

Our challenge was to develop a new image for the institution, faithfully representing the main values on which it is based.


We started by designing a ‘+’ with the union of the two agencies, of the two “v”.

Subsequently, we created an ‘ad hoc’ typeface, infusing it with an industrial and innovative character in each stroke. And as far as color is concerned, the bluish hue of the Instituto Valenciano de la Competitividad Empresarial persists as dominant, but to infuse warmth, we have integrated the orange tone of the Agencia Valenciana de la Innovación, thus merging the visual identity.

The result is a logo and an associated graphic system that is lively, dynamic and versatile, which can be visually integrated in diverse contexts and linked to these services in the Comunitat.
