À Punt and RTVE have joined forces to create ‘La Ley del Mar,’ a miniseries that narrates the shocking true story of the Santa Pola fishing boat that rescued 51 immigrants from a dinghy near Malta in 2006. Directed by Alberto Ruiz Rojo and with scripts crafted by Tatiana Rodríguez and Víctor Pedreira, the series is produced by Studio60 and MCFLY Prod.
In it, Santa Pola not only serves as the backdrop for the plot but also plays a crucial role in the series’ production. For this reason, Alicante was the perfect choice to host the premiere of the project.
A premiere organized by GrupoIdex that took place at the Yelmo cinemas in the Puerta de Alicante shopping center. The event was attended by some of the main actors of the project, such as Luis Tosar, Sonia Almarcha, and Victor Clavijo, as well as the main press in the province. They had the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive press conference with the main protagonists, followed by two roundtable discussions that culminated in the screening of the first episode.
