Alicante becomes a film set with ‘La Ley del Mar’

On January 11th, the Yelmo cinemas of the Centro Comercial Puerta de Alicante rolled out the red carpet to host the premiere of ‘La Ley del Mar’, an event organised by Grupoidex to publicise the À Punt and RTVE miniseries that tells the true story of the Santa Pola fishing boat that rescued 51 immigrants from a skiff near Malta in 2006.

Directed by Alberto Ruiz Rojo and scripted by Tatiana Rodríguez and Víctor Pedreira, it is produced by Studio60 and MCFLY Prod.

In it, Santa Pola is not only the setting for the plot, but also plays a crucial role in the production of the series. For this reason, Alicante was the perfect choice to host the premiere of the project that counted with some of the main actors, such as Luis Tosar, Sonia Almarcha or Víctor Clavijo, as well as the main media of the province, who could enjoy an exclusive press conference with the main protagonists, two round tables and the screening of the first chapter as the highlight of the event.
